About Me
After working in stressful IT roles for many years I decided in 2006 to change my life. I wanted to be able to spend more time with my grandchildren and to have more time to growing my own organic fruit and vegetables.
I began my journey by training in Reflexology, qualifying with the International Institute of Reflexology (IIR) in 2007. It was a rigorous course, with many hours of case studies to be completed - and what felt at the time like an impossible level of study of Anatomy and Physiology!Despite the hard work of returning to studying after many years I have never regretted undertaking such rigorous training.
On a holiday in Thailand I experienced a wonderfully relaxing Thai Foot Massage, which is both similar to and very different from Reflexology ... so I decided to return to Thailand to train in this therapy.
Since this time I have undertaken many other further development courses in Reflexology as well as adding Reiki, Hypnotherapy and Hopi Ear candles to my therapy 'menu'.
I am still continuing my 'learning journey' with further personal development ongoing to add to and improve my skills - and yes, I do have time for the fruit and vegetables and my grandchildren.
